| ABOUT GORDON PRITCHARD |
Gordon Pritchard is the former Technical Print Quality Marketing Manager for eleven years at Creo/Kodak. He has been active in the graphics arts field for more than 30 years in various, creative, marketing, technical, and research positions. His strategic position within Creo/Kodak was to help develop new products that enhanced its customers' ability to derive greater value from their investment in Creo/Kodak graphic solutions.
Prior to Kodak, he was the technical director of western Canada's largest commercial sheetfed printer – Hemlock Printers in Vancouver BC. For several years Professor of Digital Graphic Design at Emily Carr University and Creative Director at McCann Ericksson Vancouver. He has served as a committee member in SWOP, GRACoL, and BRIDG's and has presented at a wide variety of industry and educational events around the world. He has presented at print technical conferences, trained printers and buyers regarding print quality issues in Europe, N. America, and S.E. Asia. His articles have been published in trade journals worldwide, and he's authored several white papers on halftone screening technologies.
